Thanks to everyone who participated in the process of the Old North needs assessment. Although COVID hampered the ability to meet in person, everyone’s feedback and engagement were critical to shaping and informing the assessment and action plan Highlights of engagement included:
Six meetings of the neighborhood Steering Committee that included neighborhood residents and stakeholders.
A survey table on two Saturday mornings in August at Crown Plaza to promote the survey and talk with residents.
A mailed neighborhood survey that went to almost 600 households in the neighborhood.
Over 20 stakeholder meetings.

Overview
The Old North St. Louis Neighborhood Needs Assessment was an approximately 10-month process to document the needs and priorities of the Old North Neighborhood as identified by neighborhood residents and stakeholders. The goal of the Needs Assessment was to build consensus around and prioritize neighborhood needs to better inform the work of neighborhood organizations, aldermen, City departments, and residents in order to help guide the direction of future investment and growth.
